WRC Provides Recommendations to DHS and USCIS on Temporary Final Rule that Extends Work Permits

The Women’s Refugee Commission provided recommendations to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on the temporary Increase of the Automatic Extension Period of Employment Authorization and Documentation for Certain Employment Authorization Document Renewal Applicants that extends work permits for 540 days for immigrants whose work permit renewal applications are stuck in processing backlogs.
