In this project, the Women’s Refugee Commission partnered with the Family Planning Association of Nepal, the Nepal Disabled Women Association, and the Senior Citizen Care Society to conduct participatory research with older people and people with disabilities to learn more about their priorities for emergency preparedness and sexual and reproductive healthcare; to identify barriers that hinder inclusion and participation in community-level preparedness; and to develop recommendations and technical guidance to support the leadership of older people and people with disabilities and deliver inclusive, accessible sexual and reproductive health emergency preparedness and response.
