Gender-Based Violence Prevention & Response: Opportunities & Challenges for Serving Urban Refugees in Ecuador
PublishedIn 2014, the Women’s Refugee Commission (WRC) began a project examining gender-based violence (GBV) against refugees in urban settings. The project is paying particular attention to community-based protection mechanisms, including peer and social networks, as well as linkages between local host community organizations and refugee communities and/or refugee service providers.
