Child Marriage in Humanitarian Settings Infographic: Bangladesh
PublishedThis infographic examines study findings on child marriage in Bangladesh. The study was conducted from June to July 2019, examining Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, displaced by ongoing conflict in Myanmar.
The Women’s Refugee Commission, in partnership with the Johns Hopkins Center for Humanitarian Health, joined forces with a broad consortium of UN agencies, international NGOs, and academic institutions to examine the prevalence and drivers of child marriage in humanitarian contexts and inform prevention and risk mitigation programming.
