Child Marriage in Humanitarian Settings Infographic: Ethiopia
PublishedThis infographic examines study findings on child marriage in Ethiopia. The study was conducted in May 2019, examining Somali refugees in the Kobe refugee camp, displaced by ongoing conflict in Somalia.
The Women’s Refugee Commission, in partnership with the Johns Hopkins Center for Humanitarian Health, joined forces with a broad consortium of UN agencies, international NGOs, and academic institutions to examine the prevalence and drivers of child marriage in humanitarian contexts and inform prevention and risk mitigation programming.
