Child Marriage in Humanitarian Settings Infographic: Nepal
PublishedThis infographic examines study findings on child marriage in Nepal. The study was conducted from August to September 2019, examining internally displaced persons in Nepal, four-and-a-half years after an earthquake struck the country.
The Women’s Refugee Commission, in partnership with the Johns Hopkins Center for Humanitarian Health, joined forces with a broad consortium of UN agencies, international NGOs, and academic institutions to examine the prevalence and drivers of child marriage in humanitarian contexts and inform prevention and risk mitigation programming.
