Child Marriage in Humanitarian Settings Infographic: Kurdistan Region of Iraq
PublishedThis infographic examines study findings on child marriage in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The study was conducted from March to October 2019, examining internally displaced persons in Iraq, as well as Syrian refugees.
The Women’s Refugee Commission, in partnership with the Johns Hopkins Center for Humanitarian Health, joined forces with a broad consortium of UN agencies, international NGOs, and academic institutions to examine the prevalence and drivers of child marriage in humanitarian contexts and inform prevention and risk mitigation programming.
