WRC’s Michelle Brané joined National Public Radio‘s (NPR) 1A show to discuss a whistleblower complaint from Dawn Wooten, a nurse working at an ICE detention center in Georgia, on allegations of cruelty and mistreatment of immigrant women detained at the Irwin County Detention Center, including women being subjected to hysterectomies. Brané discusses her experience visiting detention facilities across the country.
