PublishedCOVID-19 has now spread to more than 185 countries as of May 2020. With the stated intention of controlling the spread of the virus and protecting lives, states around the world are implementing unprecedented restrictions on movement both within and between countries with significant and wide-ranging impacts on societies and economies.
