World Refugee Day Event 2012

The Women’s Refugee Commission, with the office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the Permanent Missions of Sweden and Liberia to the United Nations, hosted a reception to mark World Refugee Day on June 20. More than 100 guests reflected on the situation of the 43 million displaced people worldwide and viewed a moving new exhibition at the UN Visitor’s Lobby, “In Search of Solidarity: The State of the World’s Refugees 2012."
