Crisis in Kyrgyzstan

The recent ethnic violence in Kyrgyzstan has displaced an estimated 400,000 people; 300,000 are displaced within Kyrgyzstan, while some 100,000 fled into neighboring Uzbekistan. Almost all the refugees are women, children and the elderly. While some have begun to return home, many remain displaced.
